Local Bookshops

Books For Amnesty

103 Gloucester Rd, Bristol BS7 8AT, UK – 0117 942 2969

Great range of used books across a wide variety of categories, mostly nice and cheap but including a section for collectibles/first editions as well. And they're happy to take card payments even for small amounts.

Great little used book shop. Great prices and nice people. We shop there entirely too much!

56 Cotham Hill, Bristol BS6 6JX, UK

Good selection of books at reasonable prices and they also have a small selection of vinyl and CDs.

Friendly, cheap and well stocked all for a good cause

Excelsior Comics Ltd

48 Bond St, Bristol BS1 3LZ, UK – 0117 930 0621

Great comic shop in the centre of Bristol. I went in for a browse and ended up coming away with some graphic novels following great conversation with the owner. Really pleasant and knowledgeable guy, who offered some cracking recommendations and an unexpected, unprovoked but welcome discount for buying a few items together. This place has an extensive trades and graphic novel selection plus new release and back issue singles. I’m not into games or collectibles but there were a lot of these products on display for sale as well. Will definitely return and would urge others to support your local comic shop.

Stuff, stuff and more stuff! Comics, graphic novels, figurines, badges and other stuff. A lot of stuff crammed into a small shop with another shop for gamers just up the road and guess what? That's full of stuff too!! Awesome! Support your local comic outlet!
