An amazing pre-school which my daughters have really benefitted from attending - it really helps prepare children of reception year. Very experienced, caring staff. The site was recently refurbished both indoors and out. I highly recommend Lantern Preschool!
My daughter loved the setting and staff here. Having struggled to find a good quality preschool Lantern surpassed all my estimations.

Such a wonderful preschool. The staff are lovely and the care given is outstanding. The staff have supported and welcomed by little boy so amazingly. He has some difficulties and the preschool have done everything possible to accommodate him. This was his first experience with being away from me and he absolutely loves it. I feel confident and happy leaving him there. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I have been working with Torwood Independent School and Nursery and I am heartened to find such a deep commitment to achieving the very best outcomes for the children throughout the school and nursery. All childcare should claim to be professional and focused, but here it goes so much further - they are consistently striving to be the best they can in support of and for the education of children.

Our little boy attends Mama Bears Oakfield Road and we couldn't be happier with this nursery. The team are fantastic, very caring and nurturing, imaginative and huge fans of messy play (which is great as a parent who does not enjoy messy play at home). The nursery offers wonderful outdoor space which they use all year round, a ball pool room, sensory spaces as well as individual rooms for different age groups. Our son has flourished in this environment and loves being part of this nursery community.
My daughter likes a lot this place because she met quite a lot new friends. The staff is polite and gentle with the kids and during the week I feel safe about my little princess. When I pick her after work she has hard time leaving. And if you could have seen her in the beginning - she was crying not to leave her there! Definitely a child friendly place.

Great school with a high class of performing arts containing Steel Pans and even Gamelan which need to get connected with holy strings to the religious believes. There is help for all students and the website layout is easy to navigate.
Cotham is a great school, I really enjoy it her, all my friends are very kind and the thought on having such a nice education and also being able to have fun is what we need at a school❤️

Badminton is a thriving global community situated in the heart of Bristol. It has a warm and homely atmosphere with excellent teachers who nurture and inspire the pupils. As well as achieving outstanding exam results year upon year, Badminton is strong in many other areas such as the arts and sports. The grounds are beautiful and leafy, especially in the spring when the blossom trees are in full bloom. Badminton is home to girls from all over the world, so is a vibrant melting pot of different cultures. Many students also come from in and around Bristol. Meeting people from around the world can give you experiences and take you places that you would never experience otherwise. I would absolutely recommend Badminton to any girl who wishes to flourish in life.

I go to the senior school at red maids, and from what i have seen and heard from other pupils it seems wonderful, however i feel it is sometimes quite valuable to be surrounded with boys at primary school, however annoying they can be!

Andy Rule's Letter on Aurora St Christopher's School. I am so appalled to read about Andy Rule's Letter about how his stepson was treated at St Christopher's School and that the toys were put out of reach and the pillowcase sown to his sheets so that Andy's stepson could only lie on top of the bed instead of under the sheets. When I was a pupil at St Christopher's School way back in the 1970s this sort of thing did not take hold. It seems to be what was a good Rudolf Steiner Educational based School got out of character some decades after. The carers who have worked at the school in recent years should be disciplined in court how they have treated learning disabled pupils. They would not have been Christians to do this because if they were Christians they would not have dragged Andy Rule's stepson from a taxi back into the lodge as they did. How cruel. St Christopher's School was in my gene when it was Rudolf Steiner Educational Base as Rudolf Steiner is in my blood. I am a Rudolf Steiner fanatic and a great reader of him. Excellent training providers. I book all training with this company as they provide a high quality service that I have never been dissatisfied with. The courses are always in easily accessed locations and pleasant venues. Deliverers and support staff are highly knowledgeable and not just delivering from a script. The training is practical not theoretical so you can apply it instantly to enhance classroom practise. Electronic support, ideas and further reading are supplied to continue your learning at home. I would recommend their service to any Computing teachers.
"I thought the Introduction to Film making course was amazing. It fully met my expectations for the day. What a privilege and delight to have been able to work that closely with an expert in the field and spend time in such a small group to have received intimate one and one tuition. The session was both professional and relaxing, we were really taken care of and given the best hospitality throughout the day. I learnt a great deal from this session and was sad to see it end. I would definitely attend something like this again in the near future and hope to go on and use these skills immediately both within my personal and teaching life.A huge thank you to Tony Parker for making the day so friendly and so informative. Tony Parker was fantastic, a great guy who really took the time to work closely with us all on producing something great."

I study Mandarin and German here and come from a teacher background so know a little from the other side of the classroom floor. International House has the best reputation in the field I would say, and the Bristol branch upholds this well. I can say that the teachers here provide excellent, professional, structured lessons in a friendly environment that is conducive to learning with plenty of opportunity for speaking. The textbook materials are current and engaging(no badly photocopied handouts). All the admin staff I have met have been friendly and efficient. Class sizes are just right and not too large that your individual needs are lost in the crowd. I know others who have tried to save money and studied foreign languages elsewhere and got what they paid for. I'm happy with my decision and wouldn't study anywhere else.
I did beginner's Arabic and beginner's Japanese here. I thoroughly enjoyed both courses - the teaching was great, the other students were lovely and from a real variety of backgrounds. I found IH very well organised, always responded to me quickly and offered discounts for early booking, which I made the most of :)

I have been accepted to study in the effective center in Bristol and would like to inquire about accommodation Is it an internal residence or external housing, and is there special accommodation for students
It's an excellent place to learn a new language. For me, the most important is find a nice environment to learn, and the IH has been a great choice. All the teachers and the people who work there are extremely nice and are willing to help you with whatever you need. They motivate you and help in the process.

We have known Zara for 3 years. She tutored both my daughters in OCR A Chemistry and Biology. They achieved A's and an A*, which was essential for them to get into medical and veterinary school.Zara is a very experienced teacher, who is familiar with exam technique. She prepares and organises lessons for each student tailored to their needs. Her lessons are very structured, she gave very useful notes, challenging and tricky past paper questions and reviewed this in the next session.Overall, she is very friendly, patient and very motivating. We highly recommend Zara to anyone who needs help.
After my AS level in chemistry didn't go to plan we found Zara to try and rescue my A2. She single handedly transformed my understanding of chemistry and raised me to an A in my course work in a matter of weeks. Her tutoring was tailored perfectly to my needs, going from the basics to the higher level stuff which in the end resulted in strong As in my two A2 exams. Her explanations always had great clarity and we never moved on until something was fully understood. It is only due to her tutoring that I was able to secure a grade in chemistry good enough to get me into the course I wanted. I am so eternally grateful and could not recommend her enough.

We have been extremely pleased with the service from the Westbury on Trym Kumon Centre. Our child is 8 has been going there for 3 years. She has excelled in her reading and comprehension in English. She has progressed beyond her years in Maths and manages complex fractions on her own. Kumon provides her with the confidence that she can handle new tasks simply by trying a little bit every day. Our child handles tests calmly as she is accustomed to progress assessments and this is due to the structure of Kumon. Her progress has been demonstrated with how well she performs in school making learning easy for her. We highly recommend Kumon for bringing out the ability and potential in children.
