Martin is a skilled craftsman and recovered a family chair beautifully. A nice guy and all work done to the highest standard. We shall be back for any similar work.

Just made my second purchase, a beautiful chest of drawers. Thanks so much!
198A Cheltenham Rd, Bristol BS6 5QZ, UK – 0117 908 6893
I bought 2 pine wardrobes for £180 inc delivery. I was very happy to have found them at a very reasonable price. This is the best second hand furniture shop I have come across for choice and value.
This is much bigger than it looks and has a large area out the back that is worth rummaging through. While I have only made small purchases from here the staff have always been friendly.
55 Stokes Croft, Bristol BS1 3QP, UK – 0117 908 5028
I have been getting my hair cut with lovely Martine for over a year now. She is a fantastic hairdresser and lovely person. Best fringe I've ever had!
Lovely haircut from Martine! Very lovely and did an amazing job! She even plaited my hair for me so I don't have to for work! Xx Get better soon x
352 Gloucester Rd, Bristol BS7 8TP, UK – 0117 239 4082
Friendly beautician. Easy booking online. Could do with a refresh inside but it doesn't change the quality of the service which is ok.
Great relaxed atmosphere, friendly owner & professional treatments. (& Even has appointment reminders to your phone) Natalie (owner) & Co. are very welcoming, I've been going there for a year now. I know it's great for eyebrows, waxes & nails. Enjoying the Halloween decorations at the moment! Very festive! =)
93 Ashley Down Rd, Bristol BS7 9JT, UK – 0117 908 0638
Always have my hair done here, so amazing. Price is brilliant, best place to get your hair done.
The best attention my hair has had in years and the price is unbelievable. A real find!
103 Gloucester Rd, Bristol BS7 8AT, UK – 0117 942 2969
Great range of used books across a wide variety of categories, mostly nice and cheap but including a section for collectibles/first editions as well. And they're happy to take card payments even for small amounts.
Great little used book shop. Great prices and nice people. We shop there entirely too much!
SU21 Brigstowe St, Bristol BS1 3BH, UK – 020 3206 2660
My favourite book shop! A good selection of books, pleasant and helpful staff, plus a selection of refreshments. The staff are always enthusiastic and enjoy discussing favourite authors -- they have provided me with information about new editions to look out for in the future. They never seem too busy to be pleasant or helpful.
Great range of movies and CDs/vinyl, access to vinyl players to purchase. Lots more - 5/5 stars
56 Cotham Hill, Bristol BS6 6JX, UK
Good selection of books at reasonable prices and they also have a small selection of vinyl and CDs.
Friendly, cheap and well stocked all for a good cause

Excellent! Popped in for a tarp - left with great chat and advice about converting a camper ;)
Really helpful and products are usually really good value. Best place locally for car and bike consumables.

Moorhouse Ln, Hallen, Bristol BS10 7RU, UK – 0117 950 7592
Great tuning shop with a wealth of knowledge in high performance work.
Tim has done some work on my Kawasaki H2 and very helpful and informative on what he could do as well and technical info I asked him. Very pleased with the results. Was a few days delayed but kept me up to date and would recommend Tim to anyone looking for a good honest bike shop/repaired and service.
34 Alma Vale Rd, Bristol BS8 2HY, UK – 0117 923 9119
Got my Technics 1210 Mk2 fixed here. Great service but as other reviews have highlighted not the speediest of turnarounds. But that being said the quality of work is high and the pricing is reasonable. Would recommend to anyone.
Fixed my old but great CD deck, very quick and reasonably priced. Don't bin it, take it to Electrofix.
143 Whiteladies Rd, Bristol BS8 2QB, UK – 0333 900 0024
Richer Sounds were fantastic at providing a friendly and expert service for my recent purchases earlier this summer. I had heard good things from many people and they advised me to go here if taking the jump into the world of home cinema. James was very patient/understanding of my needs and limited knowledge and I never felt pressured into getting anything, just good solid advice. Everything seemed to get sorted quickly which was great to fit into my work commitments. I had a demo of speakers in shop and help with set-up at home. I will definitely be going back to this shop in the future and will always feel I could return to ask any questions about my previous purchases and any future ones. Highly recommend!
Great Service. Booked a demo slot with James and spent a couple of hours putting a TV, Receiver, Sub, surround speakers, front, centre and stands order together. Listened to my budget well, and didn't try and up sell products i couldn't afford. After spending a couple of hours in the store, a good package was put together, with a bulk order discount to ensure i had competitive pricing.

PD managed to find me a fabulous Mini Cooper. He sent me pictures and details, drove to London to make an inspection and had it delivered to Glos Road. No hassle for me and I now have a wonderful little 5 year old car with only 10,000 miles on the clock. Great service, 100% trustworthy and local.
We've been really happy with our VW Caravelle van we bought from PD Cars. The owner listened to our transport needs when we were looking for a new car, and suggested one of these that we had previously never heard of! Long journeys with our three girls are no longer a nightmare! After-sales has been great too - a couple of 'user error' queries were quickly addressed, and they even changed a headlamp bulb for us when we couldn't remove the casing! We've now booked the van in for an interim service - support your local businesses!!
Strathearn Dr, Bristol BS10 6TJ, UK – 07789 392525
We were looking for a small car and based on recommendations we came to know about Kebba Cars. We were impressed with the support and guidance Kebba provided! It was all very easy and very smooth process to buy a car from them and I would definitely highly recommend them to any one looking for Cars - Especially if its your first car.
Great service and good value. There are better presented cars out there but I prefer an honest car that shows it's minor imperfections and a good price rather than one where the dealer tries to hide anything wrong under a snazzy valet and charge the earth. Service can be judged not when things go well but when they go wrong. Unfortunately, I had a minor problem with the sat nav which was no fault of Kebba cars as it was working fine on the forecourt. They dealt with the issue quickly and efficiently and to my satisfaction, so I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.
296 Southmead Rd, Bristol BS10 5EN, UK – 0117 907 7550
Really positive experience of this garage/sales.Joe took time to show the cars and let me do a test drive in each. Some good bargains here and I felt confident about the quality of the vehicles. Would return to buy a car in the future.
410-422 Gloucester Rd, Bristol BS7 8TX, UK – 0117 942 0485
It's really good service and very friendly staff .........
I visit this station regularly as it's a short distance from my home, there is diesel for the daily and V Power for the weekend car, the staff have always been friendly to me and always willing to have a laugh ( at least the staff on shift when I visit anyway!) , the convenience, the staff and the pricing means I have no real need to shop for fuel anywhere else.
Whiteladies Rd, Bristol BS8 2XS, UK – 0117 403 2248
Fantastic love the service and love spending my Friday nights there. Greg is my favourite
Fairly easy to get to when not around rush hour also can be hard to get in to at peak times but on the up side fuel is a good price
Falcondale Rd, Bristol BS9 3JL, UK – 0117 959 4626
Has m&s food and a hot pastries/coffee area. Also has a car wash. So a lot to offer. On the day I went in they nearly wouldn't let me use the car wash because there was work going on in the part of the shop 'near' where the car wash ticket machine was and it was 'too dangerous' to use it. Luckily one staff member saw how ridiculous that was, the other one was a bit jobsworth about it. Anyway the sensible one got me my ticket and it was all fine. Car isn't super clean but much better than it was. Hand car wash next time though.
Staff could be friendlier and quicker to the checkouts and less confrontational
Newfoundland Rd, Bristol BS2 9LU, UK – 0117 941 1491

9 Canford Ln, Bristol BS9 3DB, UK – 0117 950 5953
Great little shop with lots of different ideas for children presents and gifts none of which are too expensive . Lots of creative sets and games any child would be happy to receive. There's also a small range of clothes and other bits and pieces like birthday cards. It's not amazon prices but it's great to be able to see them all out on display. A great place to pick up a quick birthday present for those parents in a rush.
Love P&P. I did used to work here so maybe a little bias, but it’s such a lovely shop with gorgeous things in!! Wide price range and toys from birth to age 8. I like buying unique gifts which you can’t get from any old place.

I've been looking for a jacket for some time. Come to Bristol with my daughter , found Burton's. Reluctant to go in given the the state of the Weston super mare branch. Looking for sports jacket couldn't find the size my daughter asked Chrysa for help. I'm pleased to be able to tell you that Chrysa is a credit to your company, she was most helpful and worked very hard to help find what I was looking for. She helped us order the jacket inking. Order no. 366022 and have have it delivered to my daughter's address. Please find more staff like Chrysa and send them to Weston . She was an absolute pleasure to meet.
10-16 The Horsefair, Bristol BS1 3HT, UK – 0117 933 0933
Spent several days looking for jeans with zero service from other stores. Went into Dulay, and the guys were really helpful and managed to find what I wanted. Will definitely be buying my jeans from there in future.
Good choice and service. Too noisy loud music.
68 The Horsefair, Bristol BS1 3JQ, UK – 0117 926 2697
This shop is why the High Street is important. They have a great selection of gents clothes, from casual to formal with some top labels. The staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. If you want great fitting clothes with first class service, go here before it's too late. The internet can't come close to this!!
Nice clothes for the taller and larger gent. Good amount of designer wear to choose from and good service. My one little problem with this company is the prices can be on the high side sometimes. I do understand that it's extra materials but is just a little more pricey but all in all a good shop.

Visited I Love My PC this afternoon, Had issues with my HDMI port and within minutes they quickly worked out the problem was not to do with the hardware but to do with a new software driver needed. They resolved this issue for me within 15 minutes. Not only was the efficiency very impressive but the customer service was of a brilliant standard. Very down to earth and helpful as well as being a shop that has a strong green policy. Would recommend to anyone in the area.
The lovely people who work here have been so helpful on so many occasions. They have always taken time to explain things thoroughly and patiently, and have gone more than the extra mile to try to fix my computer problems. Amazing support given with a friendly smile AND with a very reasonable price tag. So grateful to have them in our neighbourhood.

Years ago, before mobile phones were common place I was visiting a friend, Paul, in Bristol. I still recall to this day the beauty of that weekend - beautiful golden sunshine and a crisp breeze with clear blue skies. My friend an I were in town and decided to stop for lunch in a little cafe on park street where we sat down near 2 beautiful young ladies. We mustered our courage and sparked up a conversation with the 2 girls near us as most young men would. Looking back it was probably the most awkward conversation of my life, but it didnt matter to me then as that was my first conversation with Sarah. Sarah was perfect. Everything about her was amazing, he lover for nature, her beautiful strawberry blonde haire, those freckles, that giggle she made when I cracked dumb jokes. It wasn't just superficial though, she was bright and as whitty as can be - studying to be a vet at univerity! I was smitten. We spent the entire day together and hit the bars that night. It was bliss. Part way through the night whilst we were chatting when I asked for her number. She seemed keen to oblige but neither of us had a pen. I looked around and saw this guy behind me - looked friendly enough, so I tapped him on the shoulder and asked him if he had anything I could write with. He looked at me as if contemplating my question for a moment, then replied "ok" and punched me in the face. I woke up 3 days later in hospital not knowing where I was. It was pretty scary. A nurse later explained to me that I should lie very still as I had cracked my head in a fall after getting in a bar fight. It all came rushing back. The big guy... and... SARAH! Where was Sarah!?! Later that night Paul arrived to check on me. He explained to me what had happened: The guy, confused by the noise of the bar had thought I had said "do you have anything to fight with" and took it as a challenge, punched me and I fell into a table, cracking my skull. I asked Paul about Sarah and the girl he was chatting to. He had not hit it off with his new friend as well as I had with Sarah and neglected to get her number. I was devistated. I had weeks of recovery ahead of me and to make matters worse, I had since been moved to a different hospital and since Sarah was not direct family, the hospital was not legally allowed to tell her where I had been moved to. I had lost the girl of my dreams. Times have been tough since then. I've been in relationships, heck even married once, but honestly nothing can compare to those feelings I had for Sarah and as a result, all my romances and relationships have been built on cracked foundations, serving only to crumble and fall apart. Years later I moved to Bristol. I actually bumped into Sarah one day working as a receptionist. It took a while to recognise her, she just looks so different. The spark and drive she once held has left her eyes and youth has faded from her face. We chatted and it was good to catch up, but it seemed she had not faired well after that incident either. It turned out that she was distraught by the situation, blaming herself for my skull getting cracked and worrying that I would think she had abandoned me. She masked her pain with alcohol, but it managed to take over her life. She dropped out of university and made several questionable life decisions, resulting in her life (her words) taking a very negative spiral. I still see her from time to time and always smile and wave hello, wondering how different our lives would have been had we have found a way to make it work, but she is no longer that beautiful, exciting, driven young girl I met all those years ago, now she is a shell of that and I dont think I have faired much better since then. And to think that all of this could have been avoided if I just had a pen on that fateful night... So I hope dear reader you will understand where I am coming from when I say that I know first hand that stationary IS important. I also know first hand that Elworthy is definately one of the better places to go for your stationary needs. I'd give it a perfect 5/7.
Great customer service, really friendly staff - if you cant find what you're looking for they will order it in for you!!

Connor has been exceptionally helpful, twice so far, diagnosing issues with my laptops. When looking for a replacement, he got back to me with suggestions quickly, and kept me updated. Fast, efficient and friendly!
Despite being among their oldest customers I suspect Ivy & the team were great. We had no idea what was wrong with our PC but we soon got a call giving us all the information we needed. When we went to collect our PC they told us how we could maintain a healthy system & what we could do for moving into our next tech setup. We have been working with Computer Right for a number of years now & can't recommend them highly enough. The biggest thing for us is that they give us confidence. They know what they are talking about, use simple language & don't charge ridiculous amounts. Thanks guys!

Perfect for nipping in to grab some last minute supplies - all the necessities available. I always use this place as my first port of call. Reasonably priced for good quality products and the people that work there are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
The gentleman at Art @ Bristol was lovely and helpful. I made some holiday cards using a rubber stamp (purchased elsewhere), and to my dismay, the ink smudged no longer how long it was left to dry. Art @ Bristol suggested a fixative, which solved the problem. I will definitely be going back to them. Lovely guy, lovely shop with good-quality supplies.
355-357 Gloucester Rd, Bristol BS7 8TG, UK – 0117 942 1644

35 Lower Redland Rd, Bristol BS6 6TB, UK – 0117 973 4046
Excellent service. What I appreciated most was honesty. They didn't just tried to sell me anything no matter the cost. They really wanted to find the best match for my needs. They were very educated on what they're selling.
I knew the bike that I was interested in (Cube Reaction Pro) which was in stock and on demo, and which I was able to test ride. I'm a very experienced cyclist, and Chris was very knowledgeable about the range and super helpful in finding exactly the right size and options for me, at a very competitive price, as well as explaining how to get the best out of the bike, and its suitability both for commuting (Bristol-Bath) and weekend off-roading. He answered all my questions, and turned around the order very quickly and efficiently. After sales service is also excellent, and I feel like a valued customer - really exemplary service in all respects. If you're after an electric bike in Bristol (or even further afield), this is the place. Highly recommended.
68 Stokes Croft, Bristol BS1 3QU, UK – 0117 924 9550

211 Gloucester Rd, Bristol BS7 8NN, UK – 0117 924 5935
This shop is a family run business with very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They sell everything you could ever need for all your DIY jobs around the house. I would thoroughly recommend them and I think it's important to support small businesses like their's. I have been there several times and will go there again.
Love this shop! Amazing customer Service and they know their products. This shop is a total gem. Rather than driving all the way to Cribbs Causeway to buy a large pack of over priced screws and a box of hooks you can pop into Bishopston Hardware and get one of everything you need and still have change for a fiver! They cut keys, sell paint, homewares and pretty much everything else as well. This is one of the reasons I love Gloucester road so much! Shops like this.
295 Gloucester Rd, Bristol BS7 8PE, UK – 0117 924 5787
Mr Khan- Mr 'Nice Guy' - visiting Horfield Church from London - no car - trying to find compost for family grave - how to get it there? - Mr Khan response - no problem - will drop you up there in my car - no charge - nice gesture - says it all

11 Cotham Hill, Bristol BS6 6LD, UK – 0117 973 5687

The most polite and friendly owner. Everyone can learn from these kind of almost unheard of beautiful manners in today's world. A joy and many revisits!
4 Harbury Rd, Bristol BS9 4PL, UK – 0117 962 1500
Brilliant range of building equipment to hire. Very knowledgeable and friendly team. Excellent service. I would highly recommend this business if you're looking to rent a tool or 2.
Could not fault the service or the equipment, incredibly helpful. The owner did not have a problem with unlocking the blade in my angle grinder which got stuck. Great overall service, would certainly recommend to others.
20 Kellaway Ave, Bristol BS6 7XR, UK – 0117 924 1048
Excellent service very friendly guys would definitely recommend this place for hiring your diggers etc
I wanted a pressure washer with a drain cleaning attachment so I popped into Kellaway Hire Services. Not surprisingly, they did not have the drain cleaning attachment (neither did HSS on their website). But the guy behind the counter was incredibly helpful - he went to the supplier / stockist and got the details of the drain cleaner; then after checking with me, they bought the attachment for me to hire. Phenomenal service and cheaper than HSS! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hire shop and team. :)
Little George St, Bristol BS2 9DQ, UK – 0117 955 1813
Fantastic team at Alide Hire in Bristol. Quick response and great rates. Always happy to help, an essential resource for our business
Staff were amazingly helpful and went above and beyond to help us out. Will 100% be using them again and recommending to others, thanks Tony and team!
102 Gloucester Rd, Bristol BS7 8BN, UK – 0117 924 6002
I have bought from this company for years and never been disappointed. Always great sales service and aftercare. Today they went a step further, helping me sort out a dud new Hotpoint cooker. Hotpoint customer service was awful so Nailsea Electrical have stepped in offering to replace the cooker themselves and take up the case with Hotpoint. Highly recommended!
Amazing experience buying a kitchen from Nailsea. A huge showroom and Dan was highly knowledgable about everything in there. You can then buy all your appliances from Giles downstairs and be assured of a brilliant price, that more than matches anything you would find on the internet. The after sales service is top notch. I have had a couple of issues with things and they were sorted immediately and directly by Nailsea. I didn't even need to go back to the manufacturer.
369-375 Gloucester Rd, Bristol BS7 8TW, UK – 0800 318419
Very pleased with the vacuum cleaner I bought from Horders - at a very competitive price. Why would you buy online, if you can support a local company and get a much better service from them?
I’ve only used this company twice. I dealt with Neil and Steve. They were both so friendly and nothing too much trouble. Next time I want appliances I won’t be going to the big company, I will be visiting these guys!
5 Abbotsford Rd, Bristol BS6 6EZ, UK – 0117 973 7639
Very good service and price.

I visited the flower shop just before Mother's day to get two bunches of flowers. I had little idea of what I wanted but was met wit a very warm welcome and some extremely knowledgeable staff. After a quick chat they were able to make two amazing bouquets to suit the different tastes of both my mother and wife. They both loved them! Thank you very much... I will most definitely be back :)
Fantastic selection of beautiful fresh flowers and extremely helpful staff!! Would highly recommend. :)
Whiteladies Rd, Bristol BS8 2NN, UK – 0117 973 1155
I have visited many florists in the Bristol area. Hands down this is the best, value for money store. Despite being in Clifton, they often beat supermarket prices and the quality is second to none. Beautiful merchandising of their gifts, it is so hard not to buy everything in there!!!! The staff work their socks off especially when I have visited on mother’s day - they often start at 6am and finish at 10pm! Despite this I have always received polite, careful service. It is so wonderful to see a local business so popular to the point where I’m not surprised they have to turn work away. Can not recommend them enough. 10/10 Gold Star Family run company with heart and soul
Good selection of flowers, fair prices and really nice service

Fantastic Spanish shop selling everything from chorizo to Paella, beer to olives. Friendly Spanish staff welcoming one and all.
Went to buy something for 50th birthday party . ... with a Mediterranean feel. I was certainly spoilt for choice. A place worth a visit.

Best coffee in Bristol! Run by delightful couple. Real Italian experience. Wonderful deli. Delicious food to go, or eat in at the bar stool style seating. It's tiny enough that you can chat with the lovely owners while you drink/snack or you can sit quietly and watch the world go by. Top up on your olive oil from their family's own land. Choose from a wide variety of olives and antipasti. Meats, cheeses, savory and sweet pastries and store cupboard treats and essentials. It's just a lovely lovely (little) place all round!
The coffee here is one of the best bristol has to offer. Nothing pretentious about Divino Deli, the food is fresh and authentic, plus the pastries are to die for! Service with a smile! Amazeballs!
97 Henleaze Rd, Bristol BS9 4JP, UK – 0117 907 4391
Really lovely staff with a great range of produce - it's not cheap but you get the quality you pay for. Delicious takeaway sandwiches and good coffee.
Very nice deli - not cheap, but nice for a treat and a great cheese and wine selection. They also do good coffee and cake.
94 Whiteladies Rd, Bristol BS8 2QX, UK – 0117 946 6957
Mixed blessings. The food to sit and eat is on the whole amazing, really truly delicious fresh and tasty, with great vegan and vegetarian options, and the coffee is one of the best I've tasted in Bristol. However, downside are the rather brusque and haughty staff, who as another reviewer has commented seem uninterested in customer service and often have rather peculiar hair/piercings which is a bit offputting when you are trying to order. The organic fruit was very disappointing with no flavour and soft inedible apples. The prices are extremely high, and at that price I would love to have better customer service, but then this seems to be standard in Clifton to look down your nose at everyone. Also, I know it cannot be helped due to space considerations but the seating area is very small and cramped, I don't like being that intimate with strangers!
Staff aren't particularly friendly here on a few occasions I've visited. Nice selection of goods but generally expensive. So many times I've noticed a discounted item not come through at the till and show the full price which is poor.
9-11 Lower Redland Rd, Bristol BS6 6TB, UK – 0117 973 1967
This place has an abundance of excellent produce. Huge range of loose grains, beans and cereals. We were very glad to see their seaweed selection too. Lots of great breads available in the bakery section. We'll be back soon for another round of stocking up on goodies. Thanks
Nice friendly place. Would be nice if they cleared the animal foods from their fridges and stocked fresh fruit and veg instead.
11 Gloucester Rd, Bristol BS7 8AA, UK – 0117 942 5997
A great place for organic and ethical produce. In addition to the usual organic shop goods, there’s an excellent selection of locally sourced, fresh and daily produce such as bread, cakes, snacks, cakes, fermented foods, dairy and fruit etc. There’s a self-scoop section for good quality nuts, pulses, cereals, dried fruits etc. Prices are competitive as far as local organic shops go. The quality is always good. Staff tend to leave you alone to shop but very helpful if you ask them questions or seek advice.
I have always liked harvest and their products. Although everytime l have bought items from there, when l get home l always seem to have forgotten one item l have paid for. Call it coincidence but this has happened more than three times. Im not sure if there is something unethical going on here, but l will make sure l keep the receipts in future. Anyone else had this happen more than once?
Pill Rd, Bristol BS8 3RA, UK – 01275 375292
Fantastic garden centre, the cafe is overpriced and could be far better and have far more options on the menu... But the garden centre is the best Garden centre i have been too... I asked for a little watering can for my herb garden and they had one that was perfect 😊 as for herbs they sell Samphire... And Sorrel Which are usually quite considerably tough to find in garden centres... Its a little bit mo free on the pricey side BUT! ✌😀 they are bloody fantastic 😊
Really great place. Fantastic range of plants, all obviously carefully looked after and watered. And a brilliant cafe with a decent cup of coffee, a varied menu, homemade cakes and an outside seating area.
146-148 Henleaze Rd, Bristol BS9 4NB, UK – 0117 962 0418
Has a really good range for a small, independent shop. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Everything we've bought from here has been great quality. It's great to see independent shops like this still surviving - do support them!
This place is a little gem. General garden stuff and some lovely plants in the city with out having to drive miles.
Station Rd, Bristol BS6 9FE, UK – 0117 908 4475
My partner and I met with a number of garden designers / landscapers and we are very pleased we decided to go with Landpoint. We primarily dealt with Rory, who spent a great deal of time discussing the design and all the potential options with us. One thing that really impressed us was the bespoke BBQ that Rory designed and built and is now definitely what visitors comment on when they see the garden. I would have no hesitation in recommending Landpoint to any friend or family. Thanks PS - I have also added some pics to google...enjoy
Friendly and creative with inspiring enthusiasm; I would definitely recommend them!

Was greeted by manager who was very friendly and professional. I picked up my order in store. He opened my watch for me - allowed me to try it on, ensured I was happy with it, and set the time. Outstanding service and reputable company to buy your diamonds, jewellery and watches.
I don't usually leave reviews but felt that the level of customer service I received from the Cabot Circus branch was above and beyond. My partner purchased my engagement ring and we then went on to buy our wedding bands from there too. The manager was wonderful and always happy to help. Its really nice to walk into a branch and be spoken to on a personally level.

Needed fitted insoles in a hurry to do Fan Dance the following day, with Avalanche Endurance Events, and in brand new boots. Not ideal! All the staff were friendly and experienced. My insoles were done by Rosie, who does hiking boot insoles and many for Ski boots. Rosie was very thorough and careful to make sure that the fitting to my feet was perfect - then the fitting to the boot. I did the long version of the Fan Dance the following day (the Woodhouse Route, which is a good deal more demanding than than the normal Fan Dance Route).. More steep ups and more steep downs and much more 'difficult round' to cover. Rosie's care paid off 100%. I had started the route with damaged toes, but the fitted insoles allowed me to complete the route with no problems at all. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Much great kit for mountains and ski slopes - Brilliant fitted insoles..... Thank you so much Rosie. Richard
Store is rather small and claustrophobic, not much room to actually look at the gear on sale. There is however a reasonable selection of certain items, primarily clothing, choice of other items in-store is limited, no doubt also due to space. Went into look at/buy new ski poles and helmet. Selection of both was limited, was told that everything they had in store was on display at the time (last winter). Bit frustrating since buying some things online isn't ideal and I have to travel over an hour to get here. Overall just not an ideal environment particularly if trying to consider a purchase potentially worth hundreds of pounds.
18 Broadmead, Bristol BS1 3HH, UK – 0117 930 4301
You do get what you pay for. Everything is cheap but it's not good quality. Most things work as they are intended but would only last one season
Helpful budget range of travelling things

Your staff all came and said hi to us and asked us if we needed help like immediately and your girls there were really sweet and nice and friendly to us (: thanks for being nice humans!
Some nice helpful staff but I am not convinced that all of them know enough about their products to trust them without doing your own research into stuff.Probably ok if you are just buying for everyday use but not if you are heading off to some serious terrain or situations.

Very helpful staff. Loads of personal experience them selves. Helping me choose new running shoes.
We were looking for running shoes for a marathon. Finding the right running shoes can be difficult, but not in this store. There was an excellent choice of brands and moreover, we were helped by a very knowledgeable staff member Alex (18-in-a-year marathon runner). Had a run analysis, honest on brands and price, and we left with great shoes and a super tip on how to tie your laces for a better fit. Recommend for anyone looking for running shoes

Very helpful staff who do not steer you towards an expensive item when a better value alternative is available. :)
Visited to buy a tennis racquet for my 4 year old son. Received a friendly welcome, excellent advice and service.
38 North View, Westbury Park, Bristol BS6 7QA, UK – 0117 973 9092
Really helpful and knowledgeable staff. Allowed me to try on and try out a good few pairs of shoes until I found the perfect pair. Got the pair I wanted for cheaper than online as well. I’ll definitely be back for my next pair.
I have just started running having enrolled on couch to 5 k and so am a total novice. I went to up & running with my trainers for help and advice. I advised I didn't know if I would be buying trainers depending on the outcome. I was still given the full check with running on the tredmill to how I run. It was advised my trainers were heavy and stiff but still there was no pressure to try and but trainers. I felt that I would like to try trainers with expert advice. I did buy a pair of trainers after trying on numerous trainers with advice on support. I would recommend this shop as there was no pressure but so much help advice.
Newfoundland St, Bristol BS2 9DA, UK – 0117 955 0675
Nice staff, decent prices. Not the greatest variety but it's to be expected with it being an outlet.
Good range of office supplies. Easy parking at the premises - rare for Bristol

I always use Westbury Inks for my business needs. They offer a fast, reliable and very high quality service, whether we want them to design our flyers or do the printing of a ready made design, I highly recommend their services to everyone. No job is too big or too small for these guys! Our business cards have never looked better- we will always order them Westbury Inks from now on.
Thank you for an excellent printing service. Turnaround time was quick, and your service was helpful and very friendly - nothing was too much trouble! The quality of my print work was top notch.
53 Gloucester Rd, Bristol BS7 8AD, UK – 0117 924 8888
Very helpful, friendly and polite staff, especially Cristina who has helped me in person and via emails on several occasions. Efficient and good quality printing service, I have used them a lot for last minute document printing. Ink cartridge refills are also good quality and excellent value for money.
A superb service. Very highly recommended. Unaware of the fact that the shop was 'under new management' I returned a reconditioned lap-top that was a month or so out of warranty and was running very slowly. The new management - Connor - would have been well within his rights to charge me for the efficient and thorough job he did repairing the lap-top. As well as simply repairing the lap-top he went way beyond the call of duty and performed a health check on the machine and even installed some anti-virus software. A great experience. Old fashioned, efficient and honest service. Thank you Cartridge Right, you deserve to do well.

I collected two lamps I had left for new fittings and collected them yesterday. Job done and reasonable price. Very helpful and courteous staff, who also seemed very knowledgeable - a joy to experience these days when the limit of most shop assistants seems to be scanning the bar codes! Highly recommend.
Brilliant service - I bought everything through Andy at Able for a total house re-fit. He knows his products and will price match anything. Top local service.

36 Gloucester Rd, Bristol BS7 8AR, UK – 0117 942 7923
Excellent shop with very knowledgeable staff. They have been of great assistance to me with getting started up in the world of brewing. They have everything you need and competitive prices too. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Love Brewer's Droop. They are still doing it on the 'High St' which is testament to the fact that people still want personal service and advice. On several visits and phone calls they've been extremely helpful even when it hasn't meant a sale for them. This 'going the extra mile' is what makes me continue to use them (even if more expensive than online) - a proper service and great staff. Keep up the good work guys 😊

Great place for all your Italian needs. Staff and owner are really helpful and will provide advice when needed. Recommended.
The original Italian deli in Bristol. A family business with a vast selection of Italian food, wine, and salami. Fresh fruits and vegetables of the season, and great olives, fresh anchovies, and other preserved delights like artichoke hearts. Also great prices. A favourite.
8 Station Rd, Bristol BS6 5EE, UK – 0117 924 7725
This is a lovely family run independent Italian deli/store. Inexpensive with a good variety of foodstuffs and friendly service. The whole atmosphere of the place is as I remember shopping was before supermarkets and large chains. At least try their giant olives!
